Your girls are beautiful. My "child of fur", Bubba, looked almost identical to the dark one, except his fur was fuller because he was part chow. He "married" one who looked like your other girl, and they had seven beautiful children. My Bubba passed away earlier this month. But he would have been a great match for your little girl. I remember one of their kids looked like the white one, except had black circles around his eyes like he'd been fighting. We named him Rocky.
Denise, sorry for your loss. I hope you either already have another dog or are planning to get one soon, as they add so much to our lives.
Interestingly enough, the darker dog (Lucy) was adopted because she reminded me of an earlier dog we had (Lucky), who was indeed part chow like your Bubba. Lucy's blond sister (Lily) came along for the ride because they were the only two puppies left in the box and I'm a sucker. I'll try and get some pictures of Lucky up soon.
Oh, yes. We still have our beagle-bassett mix, Bandit. He's almost 8 now though. I don't know if there will be any more after him. I get so attached, and it's like losing a very dear friend when they're gone. Here is a picture of my Bubba. You can just see Bandit in the background.

Denise, I'm getting a 404 error from the link to your picture of Bubba. Please try again.
